Both Kids Are Asleep!!

Here is a photo of Matt & Wavey in front of the Embassy. It is an ugly building, but it is off of a lovely square where we love to play while waiting for Matt. Waverly is holding the stick bouquet she made for me.

It is a gorgeous day - very summer like for London. We met some other families at Regent's Park for a picnic coordinated by the Embassy. Matt is working a lot of overtime, so he wasn't able to join us. His hours are very long at the moment and he will have to begin working weekends. Yuck!

Waverly did very well at school today. She completed a craft project on the senses and she used a few new words today in class - including the word "want" & "drink". Her therapists realized that she has an incredible love for singing (yeah!) and a great memory for songs. They may begin incorporating that into her therapy sessions.

Oliver is growing up so quickly. He loves to eat his baby food and cries every time he finishes his meal. He is almost sitting on his own. He has taken to waking up before 6 o'clock each morning and screeching. (Remember he is sharing our room.) Hence our days are beginning earlier these days.

We are hoping to get out of London soon. We may take a day and head down to the coast. Some fun in the sun on the beach would be wonderful right about now.
