Makaton

I just returned from a wonderful training session at Waverly's therapists' office. It was on Makaton - basically it is a simplified version of the British Sign Language created for kids' communication development. Waverly has been introduced to the signs in group, and they are really helping. I learned the first 2 stages and I am SO excited to implement them into our daily routine. Plus, they will be great as Oliver begins to talk. So the next time you see us, we will be a signing family. :)
