Help
We will be moving into our new apartment on October 10-12. We will be painting, cleaning, unpacking boxes, setting up furniture...the usual move-in things. (You don't have to move in boxes - the movers will do that for us.) I know that many of you have been asking for ways to help. If you happen to live near us and are willing to assist us, we would LOVE the help. My folks are coming down to help with the kids, while Matt and I try to get the apartment set up. The more hands the better and quicker. Just let me know if you are interested and I will send you details. Thank you so much!!

I just wanted you to know that we had a healing service in our church this past Sunday. Guy and I along with others prayed for your children. The Lord was really moving in that service and I have confidence that He is going to touch Waverly and Oliver in some way. I will continue to pray that it will be a complete healing. What an awesome testimony that would be!! Good Luck with your move. I remember...it is a lot of work!
We have a mutual Foreign Service friend who directed me to your beautiful Holland website. I have tears streaming down my face. You hardly have to say a word, I can feel something of what you are living right away, on multiple levels.
We have been "in Holland", too, for some years now, having been yanked back suddenly to Washington DC from Shanghai, China due to a very unexpected similar genetic diagnosis. We moved to North Arlington, starting from scratch (except for our wonderful already formed Cherrydale church community), and have had quite a journey of learning to "rest in Him" ever since.
Feel free to contact me or my husband, Paul, on our blog which can be found at www.caringbridge.org

My heart is weeping with you. If I can be of any help to you whatsoever, please let me know. We have friends whose children have been diagnosed with San Felipo, so we are quite familiar with the actual disease; our genetic disease is MLD (leukodystrophy), and not so dissimilar in its manifestation.
Step by little step, there is a way to live this...
You write so beautifully, openly, honestly. Mother to mother, I feel so much more than I can say. Prerhaps it is no accident at all that our paths have crossed at this juncture, if only in cyberspace!

I so wish I could help you move in, but we've moved to PA (outside of Altoona, no less). I'll be thinking about you, though!
